REFURBISHED Forklifts
Reconditioning a used forklift begins with the initial purchase of the equipment. Most of the used forklifts for sale come from our own rental fleet. All retired forklifts are removed from rental service with less than 10,000 hours of service. So we decided to buy and rent out these forklifts and, more importantly, maintain them.
Reconditioning process
Before resale, each machine is given a fresh coat of paint, including the inside of the industrial battery compartment if possible, the side walls of the mast, the front and central exterior walls, and the overlap rails or BLOs. This three-step process involves two levels of sanding and two coats of high-build primer before applying the finishing coats. Each forklift has new ergonomic anti-fatigue mats in the operator’s compartment and a new dashboard screen protector, where possible. Moreover, we replace all tires with high-quality Stellana brand wheels made of high-speed polyurethane, perfect for hard surfaces. We also equip all reconditioned forklifts with new 42″ Class II forks with a capacity of 3,500 lbs, in compliance with the rules and regulations governing safety and mechanical inspections of handling equipment (ANSI B56.1 RSSQ B335), as well as new lifting chains. If necessary, depending on the wear indicator, we replace the hydraulic hoses and fittings, as well as their respective pulleys, once they are more than 30% worn. This also applies to the joystick lever, electric traction motor, hydraulic pump and motor, electric power steering motor, hydraulic steering pump, master cylinder, brake cylinder, electric brake assembly and components, main hydraulic lifting cylinders, free height hydraulic cylinder, tilt hydraulic cylinder and hydraulic cylinder for lateral departure.
